It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW3172. 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this standard is to make right estimation of
3、 antennas applied to the automobiles manufactured by GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology Company (hereinafter referred to as the “GMDAT“). 2. SCOPE If nothing else indicated, this standard specifies the method of test for antennas applied to the automobiles by GMDAT. 3. DEFINITION 3.1. Antenna Antenna refer
4、s to the automatic and manually-operated antenna used for automobiles by GMDAT. 3.2. Test voltage Test voltage refers to the voltage indicated on the drawing or the test standard, used for the performance and durability test for the antenna. 4. TEST CONDITIONS 4.1. Standard atmospheric conditions fo
5、r testing Unless otherwise specified, the test shall be performed at room temperature and humidity specified in KS A 0006(Standard Atmospheric Conditions for Testing). 4.2. Number of test pieces Unless otherwise specified, 6 test pieces shall be tested. 5. MEASURING INSTRUMENTS AND APPARATUS FOR TES
6、TING 5.1. General For the measuring instruments and apparatus for testing, the ones calibrate by the national calibration institute, have a valid calibration term shall be used in principle. 5.2. DC power supply It shall be a calibrated one and its maximum load current shall meet the specification i
7、n drawings or test standards. It shall have an idle capacity of +50% in preparations for leakage of overcurrent. 5.3. 8、03(Indicating Electrical Instruments) 5.4. Ammeter Grade 0.5 or more specified in KS C 1303(Indicating Electrical Instruments) 5.5. RCZ meter Its measuring frequency is 1 MHz at D.C and grade 0.11%. 5.6. Thermostatic container A container capable of keeping the temperature of -40 to +90 with a toler
9、ance of +2.0 and capacity of 100 liter min. The container shall be able to adjust relative humidity up to 95% at a specific temperature. 5.7. Water spray A spray capable of performing a test according to KS R 0051(Method of Moisture and Water Resistance for Automobile Parts). 5.8. Salt spray A spray
10、 specified in KS D 9052(Method of Salt Spray Test for Automobile Parts). 5.9. Vibration tester A tester capable of tests in KS R 1034(Method of Vibration Test for Automobile Parts). 5.10. Control box for durability tests The control box shall be able to apply or out-off power source, and the number
11、of operations shall be indicated digitally. The control box shall cut-off power source applied to the antenna automatically after completion of testing. In case of erroneous working, it shall sense the error and the number of operations of that moment. 6. TEST 6.1. Appearance test 6.1.1. Visual test
12、 (1) The appearance test shall be performed by visual inspection. (2) The presence of defects such as harmful flaws, and cracks, which affect the function of the antenna shall be inspected visually. 6.1.2. Dimensional test (1) Vernier calipers specified in KS B 5203(Vernier Calipers) shall be used a
13、nd test samples shall conform to the material in the engineering specification and the dimension of the samples shall conform to the drawing. 6.2. General performance 6.2.1. 14、5 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology (1) DC 500V shall be applied to insulation resistance tester. (2) At this time, insulation resistance shall be 100 min. 6.2.2. Electrostatic capacity (1) The antenna shall be installed in fully extended condition on the center of a metal plate of 1m2(or 11m). (2) The me
15、tal plate shall be installed on the table of 1m in height. (3) Measurement system shall be composed as shown in Fig. 1 Electrostatic Capacity Measurement System. (4) At this time, the value of electrostatic capacity measured with RCZ-meter shall be within the range of 50 pF to 90 pF. the value of el
16、ectrostatic capacity according to drawing regulation in case of indicated regulation in drawing. (5) The electrostatic capacity of COAXIAL cable shall be determined through consultation between the parties concerned and its value shall be indicated in drawings. Unless otherwise specified concerning
17、drawing or relevant standard, the electrostatic capacity of COAXIAL cable shall be within 36 pF/m. Fig. 1 Electrostatic Capacity Measurement System 6.2.3. Selectivity (Q) (1) Measuring method shall be composed in the same way as that of 6.2.2 electrostatic capacity measurement system. (2) The measur
18、ing frequency of RCZ-meter shall be 1 MHz and the measured value at this time shall be 200 min. 6.2.4. Working voltage (1) The presence of normal working shall be checked by applying the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 9V of minimum working voltage, to the antenna. (2) The presence of
19、 normal working shall be checked by applying the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 15V of maximum working voltage, to the antenna. 6.2.5. Working current (1) When the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 13.5V, is applied to the antenna, the consumption EDS-T-5408ANTENNA TEST

(2) Maximum consumption value shall not exceed 15A at the working and constraint of the antenna. 6.2.6. Working time (1) Working time shall be checked by applying
21、 the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 9V of minimum working voltage to the antenna. At this time, the working time shall not exceed 7 seconds 20%. (2) Working time shall be checked by applying the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 15V of minimum working voltage to the ante
22、nna. At this time, the working time shall not exceed 5 seconds 20%. 6.2.7. Working force (1) The working force shall be measured by applying the voltage of direct current power supply, set at 9V of minimum working voltage to the antenna. At this time, the value measured at 10cm from the projected ar
23、ea of the antenna shall be 5kgf min. (2) Manually-operated antenna working force shall be 0.3 6 Kgf. 6.2.8. Contact resistance (1) The antenna pole shall be extended fully. (2) The contact resistance of RCZ-meter shall be measured with the interval between two poles of antenna 10mm. (3) The contact
24、resistance measured at this time shall not exceed 15m. 6.2.9. Parallel equivalent resistance (1) The measuring method shall be composed in the same way as that of 6.2.2 electrostatic capacity measurement system.
