SCOPE This specification defines a Multilayered Tubing with a conductive inner layer. The construction has low permeation rates and good resistance to fuel/alcohol blends. 2
3、. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for flexible fuel lines requiring low permeation and electrical conductivity. The maximum working pressure should not exceed 690 kPa. Long term continuous operating temperature should not exceed 90 C and maximum intermittent temperature should
4、 not exceed 115 C. These lines will meet the requirements of the US market for both reformulated and flexible fuels. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (W
5、SS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS 3.4.1 Room Temperature Burst 5520 kPa (SAE J 2260, section 7.1) 3.4.2 High Temperature Burst 2070 kPa (SAE J 2260, section 7.2, 90 C) 3.4.3 Heat Aged (ISO 188/ASTM D 573, 150 +/- 50 air change/h, 168 h at 115 +/- 2 C) After heat aging determine burst 4140
6、 kPa min strength burst pressure (SAE J 2260, section 7.1) Check for delamination No loss of (SAE J 2260, section 7.11.2) adhesion 3.4.4 Heat Aged (ISO 188/ASTM D 573, 150 +/- 50 air changes/h, 1008 h at 90 +/- 2 C) After heat aging determine burst 4140 kPa min strength burst pressure (SAE J 2260, s
