2、NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then precoated and laminated to a barrier material for improved fit and acoustical properties. This carpet is piece dyed. 2.

3、 APPLICATION This material was released originally for carpets used for full floor applications as part of the Carpet Construction Strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) shall meet all requirements of the

4、 WSS-M8P16-A performance specification for full floor applications and the Sound and Heat SDS. This carpet meets the Resistance to Abrasion requirements of 2,000 cycles per WSS-M8P16-A para. 3.13, therefore, throw-in mats must be standard equipment or a heel pad must completely cover the areas most

5、vulnerable to driver wear. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finis

9、 pile fibers are covered. The pre-coating shall be thoroughly melted, as evidenced by the absence of a milky appearance and/or un-melted polyethylene granules. The polyethylene shall thoroughly saturate the base of the pile fiber bundles to ensure adequate tuft lock. Penetration of the polyethylene
