2、COMPOUND NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a thermoplastic polyester-ether elastomer (TEEE), suitable for extrusion and compounding. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for materials used for air bag cover applications that mus
3、t be painted with paints approved under WSS-M15J13-A or WSS-M15J15-A1. All paint applicators must meet the painted part approval process (AVP-T113-0116) and the soft-touch approval process (AVP-T118-017). The airbag assembly must also meet the requirements of the Airbag SDS and the Paint SDS. 3. REQ
4、UIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 All requirements of this specification, identified by symbol (s), shall be met with data representing
5、 3 sigma values. 3.2 MOLDING COMPOUND (s) 3.2.1 Melt Flow Rate 10 - 18 g/10 minutes (ISO 1133; 240 C/2.16 kg weight) 3.3 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.3.1 Preparation of Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified, all tests shall be conducted on specimens die cut from injection molded plaques 130 x 100 x 2.
6、0 +/- 0.2 mm. The plaques shall be molded according to ISO 294 using molding conditions outlined in ISO 14910-2.
