SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a high melting point wax compound. It is a translucent crystalline material in the solid state turning to a cle

3、ar yellow liquid when molten. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a wax compound used by Tier 1 suppliers to plug transmission oil way connectors to prevent fluid leakage during storage and transportation. . 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS

4、 Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COLOR 6.0 ASTM Color (ASTM D1500) 3.3 DROPPING POINT 70C min (ISO 2207, ASTM D127) 4.
