SCOPE The mat

3、erial defined by these specifications is a low modulus, high elongation silicone rubber with excellent tear resistance and compression set, suitable for long-term, high temperature service conditions. 2. APPLICATION ESE-M2D364-A This specification was released originally for silicone material used a

ESE-M2D364-A2 This specification was released originally for post cured, low volatile silicone material used as the best in class gasket for rocker arm cover and oil pan. The post cured, low volatile silicone material must be used if conta

ESE-M2D364-A3 This specification was released originally for low volatile silicone material used as the best in class gasket for rocker arm cover and oil pan. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.3 CONSTRUCTION The gasket shall consist of sil

To insure a proper cutting of specimens, backup all slabs/parts with cardboard or a rubber slab. The ASTM sla

9、bs must be cured for 10 minutes at 177 C. Part specimens must be cut as follows: . Tensile Strength per ASTM D 412, die C, full thickness. If the length between the compression limiters is not long enough to accommodate a die C, use a die exactly one-half the dimensions of the die C. . Tear Strength

10、 per ASTM D 624, full thickness. . Volume Change -25 mm long x part width x part thickness. . Compression Set -25 mm long x part width x single thickness minus any skirt. Do not buff any sample including those with a bead, except for compression set. 3.5.2 Original Properties Hardness, Durometer A 4
