SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a needled 100% polyester fiber landau top pad of random fiber arrangement with an acrylic pressure
3、sensitive adhesive on one side. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a padding for 1986 vinyl covered exterior roof applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREM
4、ENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.5 COMPOSITION Fiber: 0.7 tex polyester, 50 mm staple 50 +/- 5% 1.7 tex polyester, 50 mm staple 50 +/- 5% Binder: Thermoplastic Resin 100
5、% Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA). Must meet requirements of ESB-M3G133-A. 3.6 CONSTRUCTION The fibers shall be arranged in a random manner, and extend from the top surface to the bottom surface so that delamination cannot occur at any plane within the thickness of the pad during handling and asse
6、mbly operations. 3.7 REMOVAL OF RELEASE LINER The separation of the release liner should not cause any lifting or removal of the PSA film from the fiber pad. In addition, the cohesive strength of the fiber pad should not be affected so that it becomes unfunctionable. 3.8 BINDER CONTENT, min 45% of t
