The previous three versions have been published by ETSI as ETR 152 Editions 1, 2 and 3, while version 4 was published as TS 101 135 V1.4.1. This version provides a correction to an editorial error in figur
22、es 32 and B.27. ETSI 12 ETSI TS 1 O1 135 V1.5.3 (2000-09) 1 Scope The present document describes a transmission technique called High bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line (HDSL), as a means for the transportation of several types of applications. The present document defines the requirements for the ind
23、ividual HDSL transmission system, the transmission performance, the HDSL maintenance requirements and procedures and the mapping of information from the dedicated applications. An individual HDSL transceiver system is a two wire bidirectional transceiver for metallic wires using the echo cancellatio
24、n method. Three systems may be utilized, one transporting a bit rate of 784 kbitls over each of three pairs used in parallel, a second with an increased bit rate of 1 168 kbitls and two pairs in parallel only and a third with a more increased bit rate of 2 320 kbitls on one pair only.
