The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their comments, particularly on th
8、e question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard. CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available promptly at national level in an appropriate form. 19、anotin compounds. This test method is applicable to all types of footwear materials.NOTE ISO/TR 16178 defines which materials are concerned by this determination.2 Normative referencesISO 3696, Water for analytical laboratory use Specification and test methods3 PrincipleThe organotin substances are
20、extracted from the footwear material with a methanol-ethanol mixture, in a medium-strength acidic condition, using tropolone as a complexant agent.The polar and high-boiling organotin is then converted to the corresponding volatile tetra-alkyl derivative, by reaction with sodium tetraethylborate, Na
21、B(Et)4.
