The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags. Tags indica

3、ting changes to IEC text carry the number of the IEC amendment. For example, text altered by IEC amendment 1 is indicated by !“. This standard does not apply to current ratings of components and parts used within electrical devices or items of equipment. 2 Normative refe

17、rence The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of IEC 60059. For dated references, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on IEC 60059 are encoura

18、ged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies. Members of IEC and ISO maintain registers of currently valid International Standards. ISO 3:19

19、73, Preferred numbers Series of preferred numbers. 3 Ratings The chosen values are compliant with the R10 series specified in ISO 3. For any type of equipment, the current ratings should be selected among the values in the following table. The steps may vary according to the equipment concerned, dep

20、ending on their use or properties. The selection of the values to be adopted should be considered in each case on its merits and it may be found that there are good grounds for choosing 1,5 3 6 7,5 instead of 1,6 3,15 6,3 8, as well as their multiples of 10 n(n is a positive integer).
