33、tricalinfluence,whateveritsorigin,measurementsshouldbetakenonsitein ordertoassessmorepreciselyitseffectsontheestimationofthecorrosionload.Ifnomeasurementisperformed thecorrosionloadisacceptedhigh. 4.2.4 Soilsampling Soilsamplesaretakenatvariouslocationsonsitetakingintoaccountthenature,theheterogenei

34、tyandthe wetnessofthesoil;theresistivityandpHvaluesofthesoilsamplesarethenmeasuredinthelaboratory. AnnexBgivesadditionalinformationontheprocedureandmeasurementmethodsusedforsoilsampling. Theminimumresistivityvalue r *andthepHvaluemeasuredonasoilsampleafteradditionofdeionizedwater allowtoassessthecor

Asthestructureactuallylaysinthesoil

42、,moreinformationcanbecollectedthaninthecaseofanewstructure (seeEN125011:2003;annexB).Thiscovers: theinformationonthestructureitself(suchascorrosioneffects,operatingconditions); thecharacteristicsofthesoildirectlyincontactwiththewallsofthestructure; theeffectoftheenvironment(mainlyelectricalinfluence

43、s); thesystemofprotection(typeofcoating,cathodicprotection,.). Thethreestepsoftheprocedureforanewstructurecanbeusedfortheassessmentofthecorrosionload;butthe investigationconductedduringpreliminaryinquiry,sitesurveyandsoilsamplingwillbemorecompletethanforaEN125012:2003(E) 8 newstructure.Moreover,itisalsopossibletotakeintoaccountsamplescomingfromthestructureitselftoperform theassessment.
