Thecoatingconsistofonelayerofliquidproduct,normallyshopappliedontoabrasiveblastcleanedsteelby airlesssprayorconventionalspraytechniques.Brushapplicationmaybeusedonlyforrepairs. Thecoatingqu

Thecoatingmaterialshallnotcontainanysubstancesthatwillbereleasedfromthepaintfilmafteritiscuredand areproventobedetrimentaltotheoperationsofthepipeline. Thecoatingmaterialshallbequalifiedinaccordancewith4.2andshall

36、notbechangedafterqualification. Theappliedandcuredpaintfilmshallbesmoothtoobtainareductioninthefriction. Unlessotherwiseagreed,theappliedcoatingshouldprovideacorrosionprotectionduringstorageandtransportfor aperiodofoneyearwithoutsignificantbreakdownofthepaintfilm. 4.2Qualificationofcoatingmaterials
