SCOPE. This

2、CID covers the general requirements for connectors, pin and receptacle, electrical, rectangular, rack and panel, dust cover. Connectors, pin and receptacle, electrical, rectangular, rack and panel, dust cover is intended for commercial/industrial applications. This dust cover is for MIL-DTL-28748/9

3、and /10 connectors and can be used in applications that require a high-density polyethylene dust cover. 2. CLASSIFICATION. This CID uses a classification system, which is included in the Part Identification Number (PIN) as shown in the following example (see 7.1). PIN. The PIN for the CID shall be a

Connectors, pin and receptacle, electrical, rectangular, rack and panel, dust cover supplied to this CID shall be as specified herein see figur

12、e 1 and table I. 3.2 Material. 3.3 Dust cover. Dust covers are molded from a high-density polyethylene (color green), for durability and strength. 3.4 Screw. Stainless steel 300-series. 3.5 Finish. Screw passivate shall be in accordance with AMS-QQ-P-35. 3.6 Marking. Connectors, pin and receptacle,

13、electrical, rectangular, rack and panel, dust cover supplied to this CID shall be marked with the manufacturers (MFRs) standard commercial PIN. 4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. The offer/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with 23.403 of th

14、e Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 5. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS. 5.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this CID, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product off

15、ered for sale in the commercial market. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. 16、 contract or order. 7. NOTES. 7.1 PIN. The PIN should be used for Government purposes to buy commercial products to this CID.
