National foreword This document (EN 926-2:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 “Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment”, Working Group WG 6 “Paragliding equipment” (Secretariat: DIN,
6、Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the DIN-Normenausschuss Sport- und Freizeitgert (DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment), Working Committee NA 112-03-11 AA Gleitschirme. In Germany, paragliders are subject in full to the Luftverkehrsgesetz (LuftVG) (German Air
7、 Traffic Act) and to all regulations implementing this act. Compliance with airworthiness requirements shall be demonstrated in accordance with 11 of the Verordnung zur Prfung von Luftfahrtgert (LuftGerPV) (German Ordinance on Aircraft and Aeronautical Products). The airworthiness requirements to be
8、 met shall be those listed in 1 under number 7 Luftsportgerte of the 2.DV LuftGerPV (Second Regulation Implementing the Ordinance on Aircraft and Aeronautical Products). The present standard supplements the construction regulations by giving practical instructions for implementing these regulations.
9、 Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 926-2:2005-06 as follows: a) the standard has been editorially revised; b) Clause 2 “Normative references” has been updated; c) Clause 3 “Terms and definitions” has been supplemented; d) Tables 1, 2, 9, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28 and 29 have been modified; e) Su
10、bclause 4.4.9 “Behaviour exiting a fully developed spiral dive” has been completely revised; f) Subclause 4.4.22 “Behaviour exiting a steep spiral” has been deleted; g) Subclause 4.4.24 “Folding lines” has been added; h) Subclause 5.2.1 “Test pilot equipment” has been extended to include further req
11、uirements; i) Subclause 5.3 “Test specimen” has been revised; j) Subclause 5.5.6 “Harness dimensions” has been revised; k) Subclause 5.5.11 “Maximum travel of the accelerator” has been deleted; DIN EN 926-2:2015-06 3 l) the former Subclause 5.5.19 “Details of test manoeuvres to be carried out” (now
12、Subclause 5.5.18) has been completely revised; m) Clause 6 “Test files” has been revised; n) Clause 7 “Users manual” has been revised; o) Clause 8 “Manufacturing record” has been revised; p) Clause 9 “Marking” has been revised; q) the test methods for asymmetric and symmetric collapse have been impr
13、oved; r) the test method for behaviour exiting a fully developed spiral dive has been updated; s) the Bibliography has been deleted. The following corrections have been made to the DIN EN 926-2:2014-02 edition: a) in the National foreword, paragraph 3 has been revised and paragraphs 4 and 5 have bee
14、n deleted; b) in Subclause 4.4.7 “Roll stability and damping”, the term Rollbewegungen has been replaced by Rollschwingungen (oscillations); c) in Subclause 4.4.8 “Stability in gentle spirals”, the term Aufrichttendenz has been replaced by Neigung, zum Geradeausflug zurckzukehren (Tendency to return
