Principles,requirements and technical details relating to the vented system are given in several clauses, particularly inc

These specifications are largely unknown to German users of the DIN 1988 standards series.Technical Committee NAW IV 7 Husliche Wasserversorgung expressly points out that, in Germany, instal-lation type A (closed) is the standard type and the principles laid down in DIN 1988 continue to be

Thisis to establish the technical basis for compliance with the requirements of the Trinkwasserverordnung(German Drinking Water Regulation).AmendmentsThis standard differs from DIN 1988-2 and DIN 1988-5, December 1988 edition, as follows:a) The content has been completely revised and restruc

7、tured.b) Installation types A (closed) and B (vented) have been introduced.c) Three operating pressure classes have been specified.d) For plastic pipe systems, two temperature classes have been specified.e) Reference is made to all suitable types of pipes and fittings that are dealt with in European
