The preliminary work was done by Working Group WG 3 “Closet bowls, flushing cisterns, urinals, bidets and kitchen sinks”, lead-managed by DIN, Germany. The

5、 responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Wasserwesen (Water Practice Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 119-05-18-01 UA Waschtische, Sitzwaschbecken, Klosetts, Urinale. The national standards bodies listed in the foreword are bound to adopt this European S

19、ture. This European Standard does not apply to siphonic action WC pans and WC suites. NOTE 1 Other connecting dimensions are permitted, e. g. special designs of WC pans, if the manufacturer supplies or recommends the appropriate fittings. NOTE 2 The shape of the appliance in the figures is for illus

20、tration only; it in no way prejudices the final shape of the appliance, which is left to the initiative of the manufacturer. 2 Connecting dimensions 2.1 Inlet of WC pans with independent water supply The connecting dimensions of inlets of WC pans with independent water supply shall comply with the d

37、and Figure 2. The angle is defined to ensure the stable position of the WC seat and its lid in the upright position (see Figures 3a to 3e).
