The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Mechanische Verbindungselemente (Fasteners Standards Committee). It should

3、be noted that, as a departure from current practice in International Standards, the width across flats for thread size M1 O specified in this European Standard is 16 mm instead of 15 mm (cf. IS0 41 61 and IS0 41 62). DIN IS0 3269 and DIN IS0 8992 are the standards corresponding to International Stan

4、dards IS0 3269 and IS0 8992, respectively, referred to in clause 2 of the EN. Amendments This standard differs from the February 1998 edition in that table 1 in the German-language version has been corrected. 38、r fill and width across corners. Gauge A shall be placed over the hexagon and shall seat on the flange. Gauge B shall be placed on the top of the head normal to the bolt axis.
