This document (EN 15059:2009+A1:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 151 “Con-struction equipment and building material machines Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned wi

7、thin the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume complianc

8、e with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Where the International Standards referred

The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this document. When provisions of this

30、Type C standard are different from those which are stated in Type A or B standards, the provisions of this Type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this Type C standard. DIN EN 15059:2015

31、-06EN 15059:2009+A1:2015 (E) 6 1 Scope This standard applies to snow grooming equipment as defined in 3.1 and its use with attachments as described in 3.2. With the exception of rear-mounted snow tillers and front blade attachments, this standard does not deal with the specific hazards of the attach

32、ments themselves. This standard is not applicable to snowmobiles. This standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to snow grooming equipment, when it is used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (se

33、e Clause 4). It also deals with hazards during commissioning, use, fault-finding and maintenance. This standard is not applicable to snow grooming equipment manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN.
