National foreword This document (EN 14789:2017) has been prepared by Working Committee CEN/TC 264/WG 16 “Reference measurement methods for NOx, SO2, O2, CO and water vapour emissions” (Secretariat and Convenership: AFNOR, France) of Technical Committee CEN/TC 264 “Air
6、quality” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany), with the active participation of German experts of Kommission Reinhaltung der Luft im VDI und DIN Normenausschuss KRdL (Commission on Air Pollution Prevention of VDI and DIN Standards Committee KRdL). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was V

8、ts This standard differs from DIN EN 14789:2006-04 as follows: a) in Clause 1, Directive 2000/76/EC has been replaced by Directive 2010/75/EU; b) in Clause 2, the normative reference to EN 13284-1 has been replaced by EN 15259 regarding requirements for measurement sections and sites and for the mea
9、surement objective, plan and report; the normative reference to EN 15267-4 regarding performance criteria and test procedures for portable automated measuring systems for monitoring emissions from stationary sources has been included; c) in Clause 3, definitions have been revised taking into account
10、 EN 15259 definitions and the new version of VIM (2012); the detection limit has been deleted from the list of definitions and performance characteristics as repeatability at zero is more suitable; d) in Clause 4, symbols and abbreviations used in the main section of the document have been included;
11、 e) 6.3 corresponds to the former Clause 6; f) in Clause 7, the performance characteristics shall be determined in a general performance test according to the test procedures described in EN 15267-4; g) in 9.2, a reference to EN 15259 has been included for determining homogeneity; h) in 9.4.2.1, it
12、has been specified that test gases are to have concentrations traceable to SI units; i) in 9.4.3, an equation to calculate the concentration corrected when drift occurs has been included; j) in Clause 12, the expression of results has been modified to be in line with EN 15259; k) in Clause 13, the s
13、tandard deviation sr,limithas been recalculated according to new rules specified in EN 14793; DIN EN 14789:2017-05 3 l) in Annex A, an estimate of the expanded uncertainty calculated on the basis of of reproducibility has been included and has replaced the expression “reproducibility confidence inte
14、rval”; m) in Annex C, the presentation of the calculation of the uncertainty budget has been improved; n) in Annex D, typing errors in the table to determine the drift have been corrected.
