This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 198 “Printing and paper machinery Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body

This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first pl

8、aced on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applyin

9、g this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in this document have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. It should be noted that the time ave

10、raged level is erroneously designated by LpA, whereas the correct designation would be Lm in accordance with DIN 45641. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 13023:2003-10 as follows: a) The standard has been brought in line with the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. b) Annex ZA has been up

39、ion necessary to carry out efficiently and under standardized conditions the determination, declaration and verification of airborne noise emission from printing and paper converting machines covered by the EN 1010 series and from paper making and finishing machines covered by the EN 1034 series. It

40、 specifies noise measurement methods and installation and operating conditions to be used for the test. This standard applies to those machines listed in the normative annexes A to J. The principles of this noise test code should be applied as far as possible also for the determination of noise emis

41、sion of machines and machine parts not listed in the normative annexes A to J. In such cases, all information relating to assembly, installation and operating conditions as well as the arrangement of work stations should be recorded and reported in the test report. Noise emission characteristics inc

42、lude emission sound pressure levels at work stations and the sound power level. Declared noise emission values permit comparison of printing and paper machines on the market. The use of this noise test code ensures the reproducibility of the determination of the characteristic noise emissions within

43、 specific limits. These limits are determined by the accuracy grade of the noise measuring method used. Noise measurements specified by this standard are carried out by the engineering method (accuracy grade 2) and the survey method (accuracy grade 3). 2 Normative references !The following reference
