7、rmaschinen. Representatives of manufacturers of paper making and finishing machines, and of the employers liability insurance association for papermakers contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Direct

8、ive”, Directive 98/37/EC (valid until 28 December 2009) and the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, which took effect on 29 December 2009, and which apply to paper making and finishing machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serv

9、es to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Ma

The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Stand

30、ard. For machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this C standard, the following stipulation applies: When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type B standards or from provisions made in !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010“, the provis

31、ions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards. 1 Scope This European Standard applies to machines for de-wiring bales and units and shall be used together with !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010“. It deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and hazard e

32、vents relevant to machines for de-wiring bales and units, when used as intended and under conditions reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer as incorrect application (see clause 4).
