6、per machinery Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 060-23-01 AA Druck- und Papier-maschinen of Section Druck- und Papiermaschinen. Represent

7、atives of manufacturers of paper making and finishing machines, and of the employers liability insurance association for papermakers contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2

8、006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is

9、deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in this document have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Stand

10、ards with the same number. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1034-1:2000-10 as follows: a) the standard has been brought in line with the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; b) an informative Annex ZB dealing with the relationship between this European Standard and the essential requireme

11、nts of EU Directive 2006/42/EC has been included; c) normative references have been updated; d) requirements relating to guards have been added; e) requirements for safety related control elements have been brought in line with EN ISO 13849-1 and EN 62061; f) in Figure 6 “Access stairs type 2”, a di
