13、o CWAs, the Application ActivityModel -AAM- and the Application Reference Model -ARM.This CWA contains the Application Activity Model -AAM- regarding the funStep Application Protocol and ithas been prepared by the members of the CEN/ISSS funStep Workshop.The CEN/ISSS funStep Workshop gathers furnitu

15、14248:2001 (E)4IntroductionIn 1998 the funStep Interest Group (FSIG) was set-up including almost 100 industrial and academic/researchorganisations coming from 15 countries worldwide. Nowadays, the Group consists of 151 companies from 19countries. 3/4 of the FSIG membership consist of furniture manuf

16、acturers, retailers, industrial federations,and software vendors specialised in the furniture industry. Others are mainly research organisations andUniversities.FSIG is a Users Group with the main purpose of co-ordinating the furniture and related industry towards thecreation and industrial implemen

17、tation of open standards in a bottom-up approach. Group representativesare collaborating actively -or in some cases as listeners- with international and domestic standards bodiesand projects. FSIG brings a decisive contribution and support for the development and success of this AP.The FSIG acts as

18、an umbrella for some consortia that are performing different activities, which contribute tothe funStep-IG objectives. These consortia, mostly funStep-IG members, are developing research projects,as well as standardisation and industry awareness activities.An A-Liaison between the funStep-IG and the

The Application

20、 ActivityModel consists of a structured graphical representation of the main activities developed within the applicationscope and the information, materials and resources of such activities. IDEF0/SADT is the methodologyrecommended to be adopted when developing an ISO10303 Application Protocol, and

21、it is the one used forthe development of the Application Activity Model of funStep AP (ISO 10303 AP236).The application activity model is provided to aid in the understanding of scope and information requirementsdefined in the application protocol. The model is presented as a set of definitions of b

22、oth the activities and thedata and a set of activity diagrams. It covers activities that go beyond the subject of this application protocol.The model to describe has to be with the relationship among the furniture manufacturers and the commerce(retailers, major retailers and private customers).The m

23、odel refers to the Product definition to use in the Project model in order to allow the exchange ofProduct Libraries and Orders (decorating projects) including graphic information.The purpose of the AAM model is the “Identification of the more important activities that are carried out in themanufact

24、urer-customer relationship, in order to identify the most important information exchange betweenthem”.The aim of IDEF0 model is to provide a global vision of the activities to be performed in the system, theinformation flow and the required resources.The diagrams shown in the next pages contain the

25、graphical model information.
