Foreword This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee Schrauben mit Innenantrieb of the Normen- ausschuss Mechanische Verbindungselemente (Fasteners Standards Committee). A large driving feature facilitates tightening of the screw and provides for a more

3、 effective use of the drive machinery. In addition, a large driving feature lessens the likelihood of tolerances being exceeded in screws with a zinc flake coating. Hexalobular socket head cap screws with a driving feature of a size suitable for general purposes are dealt with in DIN EN IS0 14579*).

23、 head cap screw, with a nominal length, 1, of 60 mm, of property class 10.9: The DIN 4000-2-1.2 tabular layout of article characteristics shall apply to screws covered in this standard. Screw DIN 34802 - MI O 60 - 10.9 6 Marking Screws shall be marked as specified in DIN EN IS0 898-1, the marking (manufacturers mark) being applied to the face of diameter d, (cf. figure l), where possible.
