It provides requirements to be complied with when producing fusion

7、-welded components used in aerospace. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 29595:1983-04 and Supplement 1 to DIN 29595:1984-02 as follows: a) the title has been modified; b) the standard has been revised in form and substance; c) quality levels I, II and III have been changed to A, B und C in a

8、ccordance with DIN EN ISO 5817; d) the content of Supplement 1 has been adopted without any modifications as informative Annex A. 30、lding work, the following requirements shall be complied with: a) the manufacturer of welded joints shall have suitable workshop facilities and equipment; b) the manufacturer shall employ in his company a competent welding coordinator (see DVS 2715-1) recognized by the relevant bodies or appointed i

31、nternally, who is deployed as the responsible and competent authority for welding related topics; c) manual welding works shall only be carried out by welders who are in possession of a valid qualification certificate in accordance with DIN 29591; d) mechanized welding works shall only be carried ou

32、t by operators in possession of a certificate in accordance with DIN EN 1418; e) the welding machines used for mechanized welding shall be subject to approval testing and regular inspection and maintenance; there are acceptance requirements for electron beam welding machines in DIN EN ISO 14744-1 to

33、 DIN EN ISO 14744-6, for CO2-laser beam welding machines in DIN EN ISO 15616-1 to DIN EN ISO 15616-3, for plasma arc welding equipment in DIN 65153 and for jigs and auxiliary equipment for fusion welding in DIN 65171. For TIG-welding machines the recommendations given in DVS 2714 apply. 6 DIN 29595:

34、2007-04 5 Safety categories and quality levels 5.1 General Welded joints are classified according to their function and requirements using safety categories and quality levels. 5.2 Safety category I Joints assigned to safety category I are those the failure of which under service conditions will res

35、ult in loss of the aircraft/spacecraft or one of its main components, or constitute a direct hazard to persons. 5.3 Safety category II Joints assigned to safety category II are those the failure of which will entail the malfunctioning of the aircraft/spacecraft while maintaining its safe operation u

36、ntil completion of the transportation mission is still assured. 5.4 Safety category III Joints assigned to safety category III are those which have no effect on the safety and transportation mission of the aircraft/spacecraft. 5.5 Quality levels Imperfections are to be tolerated where these are depe

37、ndent on the material or commensurate with the complexity of the work. The imperfections differ by their nature and size and are assigned to three quality levels as a function of the component requirements (see Table 1). Depending on the requirements to be met by the welded joint, each individual im

38、perfection of a component is assigned to one of the three quality levels (see DIN 65118-2). 6 Requirements 6.1 General The manufacturer of a welded joint shall provide evidence by means of tests that the requirements of this standard are met. The results shall be submitted to the inspector of the co

39、mpetent authority or to the client on request. The samples and devices, equipment and qualified personnel required for tests carried out by the competent authority shall be provided by the manufacturer. The inspector is entitled to witness performance of the quality inspection and to carry out indiv

40、idual tests himself. 6.2 Materials Only parent materials, filler materials and auxiliary materials specified in the relevant definition documents shall be used. 7 DIN 29595:2007-04 6.3 Drawings and inspection schedules Drawings and inspection schedules shall comply with the requirements of DIN 65118

41、-1. 6.4 Manufacturing conditions The welding-specific manufacturing conditions and sequences shall be monitored by the competent welding coordinator taking into account the relevant definition documents and manufacturing specifications. 6.5 Repair and maintenance The repair of impermissible imperfec

42、tions using fusion welding processes is subject to written authorization by the responsible welding coordinator in agreement with the quality assurance. Maintenance activities shall take place in accordance with the manufacturer or according to Commission Regulation (CE) No. 1702/2003, Part 21. Repa

43、ired components need to be rechecked as specified in 7.4. 6.6 Manufacturing documentation The manufacturer shall be able at any time to provide evidence of the welding conditions and sequences for the welded joints, for example in the form of identification marking as in LN 9051, documentation of th

44、e welding parameters and test reports. 6.7 Limits for imperfections Depending on the quality levels specified in the definition documents the imperfections und limits specified in Table 1 are permitted. The values given in Table 1 are based on results obtained on components by fusion welding under c

45、ommon aerospace conditions (e.g. pre-treatment, use of vacuum melted steels). Their impact in particular on the dynamic structural strength shall be checked on a case-by-case basis. The imperfections are defined in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6520-1. The tabular values are valid for welding process2)

46、reference numbers 141, 15, 311 in the weld thickness range from 0,4 mm to 4,0 mm, and for reference numbers 511 and 52 from 0,4 mm to 20,0 mm. The applicable thickness is the nominal thickness t. In the case of differing nominal thicknesses of the components being joined by fillet welding, the permi

47、ssible imperfections relate to the smaller nominal thickness, but for butt welding to the greater nominal thickness. 7 Quality inspection 7.1 General The test methods to be used for the quality inspection of the welded joints and the required scope of testing are specified in the definition document

48、s (see DIN 65118-1). The imperfections detected during the tests shall not exceed the limits given in Table 1. 2) Reference numbers according to DIN EN ISO 4063. 8 DIN 29595:2007-04 7.2 Test methods 7.2.1 Visual and dimensional inspection The welds shall be examined visually using a magnifying glass (with 6 to 10 magnification), mirror or endo-scope. Specified dimensions shall be verified using adequate measuring instruments (e.g.
