Gauge dimensions and design features

23、shall comply with DIN IS0 1502. The dimensions of screw gauging member blanks shall be as given in table A.l. Appendix A Dimensions of screw gauging member blanks with nominal diameters from 1 mm to 40 mm Hardened and ground blanks shall be finished to final gauge size. The blank dimensions given in

24、 table A.l are suitable both for GO screw gauging members and for gauging members for use with check plugs and setting plugs with a pitch as specified here. Where such blanks are used for a finer pitch, the thread shall be cut starting from the shank. Blanks for NOT GO screw gauging members should b

25、e chosen from the extra short, short or medium series. In these cases, too, the thread shall be cut starting from the shank, where necessary.
