16、general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, i

17、nclude the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Wind resistance class of system or wind load zone and terrain category as in DIN EN 1991-1-4 and DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA, height above ground of uppermost system element after installation, and altitude of site. 0.1.2 Typ

18、e, location, dimensions and constructional details of any scaffolding installed by other contractors, and schedule for the installation or removal of such scaffolding. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Types, design, location, number and dimensions of components to be mounted. 19、 5 0.2.2 Type, number and dimensions of samples required, and where these are to be installed. 0.2.3 Type and scope of design and installation drawings requested. 0.2.4 Type, condition and strength of mounting background (e.g. lintels or reveals), together with details of installation of operating c

20、omponents. 0.2.5 Types of runner rails, guide rails etc. already installed or type, design, number and dimensions of such components that are to be supplied. 0.2.6 Types, dimensions and form of the slats of roller shutters, the sections of roll-up doors, the lattice members of roller grilles, the le

21、aves or segments and hinges of sectional doors, the slats of venetian and pleated blinds, and the sheeting of outside roller blinds, awnings, black-out and dim-out blinds, and other shading devices. 0.2.7 Any exceptional conditions to which the system will be exposed after mounting (e.g. resistance

22、to exceptional loads, sound and thermal protection), safeguards against burglary, wind load for garage and similar doors integrated in faades of buildings (e.g. wind resistance class higher than WK 2); resistance to the ingress of water, air permeability. 0.2.8 Information on whether awnings are als

23、o to be used to provide protection against rain, required inclination of awnings. 0.2.9 Information whether emergency controls are required for electrically operated winding gear. 0.2.10 Information whether the blinds to be supplied are to ensure partial or complete exclusion of light, optical chara

24、cteristics (e.g. luminous transmittance). 0.2.11 Information whether roller shutter boxes or roller box lids are already installed, or are to be supplied. Where recesses are to be provided to accommodate them, their types and dimensions shall be stated. 0.2.12 Dimensions of space to accommodate the

25、shutter coil or the blind system, or that left for mounting shading systems, dim-out or black-out blinds, or awnings. Available opening height for roll-up and sectional doors, and for roller grilles. 0.2.13 Dimensions of the openings or surfaces to be closed or protected by roller shutters, roll-up

26、or sectional doors, roller grilles, mechanically operated shading systems or black-out blinds, or flyscreens, and, in applications where the blinds are hung in front of the opening, the dimensions of the lateral overlap, as specified in DIN V 18073. 0.2.14 Type of drive; for electrical drives, the r

27、ating, and details of safety equipment required. 0.2.15 Proposed control system. 0.2.16 Scope of any necessary electrical wiring work and the responsibility for doing this work. 0.2.17 Type, design, number and dimensions of connections to/junctions with other building elements. 28、.2.18 Any protection of building components, equipment, furniture and the like. 0.2.19 Any separate mounting work prior or subsequent to the main work. 0.3 Details not included in the specifications of this standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications o

29、f this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in subclause 3.3, if tolerances other than specified are to be complied with. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are requi

30、red supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting shall be based on the following units: 0.5.1 Number of items, accounted for separately according to type of material, design and dimensions: roller shutters, roller blinds,

31、 venetian blinds, pleated blinds, and awnings, roll-up and sectional doors, roller grilles, flyscreens. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type and dimensions: pelmets/boxes for blinds, cover boards for awnings. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the manufacture and installati

32、on of roller shutters, roll-up and sectional doors, roller grilles, mechanically operated shading systems, black-out blinds, awnings, venetian blinds, pleated blinds, and flyscreens. 1.2 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present stand

33、ard, DIN 18358 shall take precedence 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be be supplemented as follows, the DIN Standards below covering the most commonly used standardized materials and components. DIN 18358:2016-09 7 2.1 Roll-up doors, sectional doors and rol

34、ler grilles DIN EN 13241-1 2.2 Shutters, blinds and awnings DIN EN 13120 DIN EN 13561 DIN EN 13659 DIN V 18073 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the f

35、ollowing: any discrepancies between the conditions on site and those declared in the specifications, the condition of the background if this is of inadequate strength or otherwise unsuitable, any unsuitable or missing supports or recesses for the components to be fixed or mounted, any unsuitable fix

36、tures (e.g. guide rails, runners), any impossibility of checking the dimensions on the structure prior to the start of work. 3.2 The contractor shall check the dimensions on the structure prior to the start of manufacture. 3.3 Deviations from the dimensions specified are permitted subject to complia

37、nce with the tolerances in the following: DIN 18202 DIN 18203-3 3.4 When mounting doors, shutters etc., the standards listed in subclause 2.2 and DIN EN 13241-1 shall be complied with. 3.5 All steel components that need to be protected against corrosion but will be inaccessible once installed shall

38、be given a permanent corrosion protection coating or shall meet the requirements for corrosion protection class III as in DIN 55634. 3.6 Fixing components with the aid of shooting tools is only permissible in appropriate applications provided that the client has expressed agreement. 39、9 8 3.7 To enable the client to lay the corresponding electrical circuit for the electrical components to be installed by the contractor, the contractor shall supply to the client a final plan of the proposed appliances, a wiring diagram or a flow diagram and a plan of terminal connections, together

40、 with details of the current consumption (starting current). When the work is commissioned, the contractor shall delegate a competent person familiar with the system to participate in the testing of the electrical circuit. 4 Associated tasks and special tasks 4.1 In addition to those specified in DI

41、N 18299, subclause 4.1, in particular the following also count as associated tasks: 4.1.1 Provision, erection and disassembly of scaffolding with work platforms up to 2 m above ground or floor level. 4.1.2 Cleaning of the background, except for work specified in subclause 4.2.3. 4.1.3 Protection of

42、components and equipment from soiling or damage which might otherwise occur in the course of the work, by use of loose coverings or wrappings, except for work as specified in subclause 4.2.10. 4.1.4 Working in two stages for the benefit of other contractors, without this causing undue interruptions

43、to the contractors own work. Otherwise, the work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.11). 4.1.5 Fitting of controls, cover plates etc. in the course of the work. 4.1.6 Cutting to size, notching and fitting of bottom rails for roller shutter boxes, if such boxes are to be supplied by

44、 the contractor, except for work as specified in subclause 4.2.7. 4.1.7 Provision of plans for recesses required for mounting of roller shutters, roll-up and sectional doors, roller grilles, mechanical shading systems and black-out blinds, and flyscreens, or marking out the position of such recesses

45、 on the structure, and entering the data relating to the required recesses in plans supplied by the client. 4.2 In addition to those specified in DIN 18299 subclause 4.2, the following also count as special tasks: 4.2.1 Provision of rooms for storage and shelter, if the client fails to make availabl

46、e suitable lock-up facilities. 4.2.2 Provision, erection and disassembly of scaffolding with work platforms over 2 m above ground or floor level. DIN 18358:2016-09 9 4.2.3 Cleaning the background by removing any remains of gypsum plaster, mortar, oil and paint, etc., where these have been left by ot

47、her contractors. 4.2.4 Making and closing of holes, penetrations, chases, etc. or drilling or burning holes in steel components. 4.2.5 Making the supports on which to mount the components. 4.2.6 Supply and installation of roller shutter boxes and box end caps, and installation of wall boxes. 4.2.7 M

48、aking bottom rails for roller shutter boxes to fit after installation. 4.2.8 Levelling of surface irregularities exceeding the tolerances specified in DIN 18202. 4.2.9 Measures to ensure adequate fire and radiation protection, sound and thermal insulation and damp-proofing, in addition to the work d

49、escribed in clause 3. 4.2.10 Any special protection of components, fixtures and furniture (e.g. taping down covers over doors, windows, floors and floorings, stairs, finished components, use of dust-proof coverings over sensitive fixtures or technical equipment, fitting of hardboard or plastic sheeting). 4.2.11
