22、quired for drafting the specification of works The following information supplements the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This informati

23、on does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information Type and size of free edges and openings that are not secured against falling. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type of screed,

24、 including wearing courses and protective coverings, location, type of construction, dimensions and details of materials to be used. Design, strength class and nominal thickness. Types and properties of any additives and admixtures. 0.2.2 Colour shade and finish required. 0.2.3 Use of screed and any

25、 mechanical, chemical and thermal conditions to which the screed will be exposed after placement, such as high vertical imposed loads. 0.2.4 Type and thickness of floor covering which the screed is to receive. DIN 18353:2016-09 5 0.2.5 Information on whether execution of work is to be based on speci

26、fied drawings (particularly detailed drawings or joint pattern drawings). 0.2.6 Any requirements regarding fire protection, sound and thermal insulation, and damp-proofing. 0.2.7 Design and any sectionalizing of surfaces. 0.2.8 Type, location, dimensions and design of movement and structural joints,

27、 and of joints between components. 0.2.9 Type and dimensions of strip joint formers, etc. Joint sealing compound to be used. Any special requirements for joint formers and sealing compounds. 0.2.10 Type, condition and strength of structural base. 0.2.11 Type and position of damp-proofing. 0.2.12 Fal

30、g or cooling system, size and location of heating or cooling elements, screed thickness and depth of cover. 0.2.18 Types, location, number and dimensions of any recesses, openings and penetrations. 0.2.19 Types, constructional details, number and dimensions of stairs and landings on which screed is

31、to be laid, with details of connections/junctions and edgings. 0.2.20 Type, design, location, number and dimensions of edgings or changes in height, at which screed is to be laid. 0.2.21 Types, location, number and dimensions of frames, stop beads, dividing battens and strip joint formers to be fitt

32、ed. 0.2.22 Type of finishing coats (e.g. impregnation, seals, wearing courses). 0.2.23 Any special protection of components, equipment, fixtures, furniture, etc. 0.2.24 Types and location of any metal components requiring protection. 0.2.25 Type, dimensions and number of colour and surface samples.

33、DIN 18353:2016-09 6 0.2.26 Requirements for covers at workplaces and in trafficked areas (e.g. if surfaces are required to be safe to walk on or to have anti-slip or anti-penetration properties). 0.3 Details not included in the specifications of this standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made t

34、hat are not included in the specifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in: subclause 3.1.3, if tolerances other than specified are to be complied with, subclause 3.2.4, if the

35、 screed surfaces are not to be finished by rubbing, but by floating, raking, etc., subclause 3.3.1, if terrazzo flooring is not to be placed in two layers, subclause 3.3.6, if terrazzo flooring is not to be finished by grinding, filling and polishing, but only by grinding and washing out, for exampl

36、e. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are required supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately according to ty

37、pe of construction and size: preparatory treatment of the base, keying of the base, application of levelling, placing of fill, separating, impervious layers, underlays or slip membranes, sheeting, fitting of insulating material, laying of screed, terrazzo flooring and application of other protective

38、 layers or wearing courses, surface finishing and other treatment. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: fitting of flanking strip and removal of excess strip (at wall/floor junctions), fitting of battens, beads and joint formers, making of moul

39、dings, skirtings and edges, making and filling of joints, working around or to holes individually measuring 0,1m2. DIN 18353:2016-09 7 0.5.3 Number of items, accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: placing of screed on steps and sills, fitting of beads, profiles an

40、d frames, closing of openings, working around or to holes individually measuring 0,1m2. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the laying of screed material on floors, including the application of any insulating, separating and protective layers or membranes. 1.2 This standard does not cover the layin

41、g of dry screed boards and the construction of dry floors (see DIN 18340), nor the hot application of mastic asphalt screed (see DIN 18354). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18353 shall take precedence

42、. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The DIN Standards and other requirements given below cover the most commonly used materials and components. 2.1 Binders DIN 1164-10 DIN EN 197-1 DIN EN 13454-1 DIN EN 14016-1 2.2 Resins DIN 16945

45、n accordance with the building inspectorate approval procedures. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any discrepancies betw

46、een the conditions on site and the specifications, the condition of the base, if it is unsuitable, any surface irregularities in the base/background exceeding the tolerances specified in DIN 18202, any missing datums, any incorrect level of the base, the fall, if this is missing, inadequate, or othe

47、rwise deviates in a way that does not permit application of the screed in accordance with subclause 3.1.4, any missing damp-proofing for components in contact with the ground, pipework laid on the base, without a levelling layer being applied, any inadequately plastered walls, missing door frames or

48、 stop beads, any inclement weather conditions (see subclause 3.1.2), any missing corrosion protection of metal components (e.g. where MA type screed is to be laid). DIN 18353:2016-09 9 3.1.2 If conditions are unsuitable due to the weather or the indoor climate (e.g. temperatures below +5 C, draughts), special precautions shall be taken, in consultation with the client. If work is necessary as a result, this shall count as a special task (see subclause 4.2.2). 3.1.3 Departures from the dimensions specified are permitted subj
