18、mation supplements the general information specified in clause 0 of DIN 18299. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of work

19、s shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information No information is required supplementary to that specified in DIN 18299, subclause 0.1. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Design of connections/junctions. 0.2.2 Information whether the work is

20、 to be executed to specified drawings or to measurements taken on-site. 0.2.3 Type and condition of background (e.g. concrete, masonry, waterproofing material). 32、is standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in: clause 2, if tiles or mosaics need not be of fir

33、st class quality, subclause 2.5, if reinforcing fabric is to have a mesh size other than 50 mm 50 mm and a bar diameter other than 2 mm, or other than 70 mm 70 mm and a bar diameter other than 3 mm, subclause 3.1.2, if tolerances other than specified are to be complied with, subclause 3.2.1.1, if ti

36、are required supplementary to those given in DIN 18299. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting shall be based on the following units: DIN 18352:2016-09 7 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately according to type and dimensions: preparatory treatment of background, applic

37、ation of levelling layer, application of separating layers, application of insulating layer, restoration of structural base, tiling of ceilings, walls and floors, finishing of tiling, provision of reinforcement and supporting structures, erection of walls. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately

38、according to type and dimensions: tiling of steps and sills, tiling of plinths and coved tile skirtings, bevelling of tile edges, making of skew cuts, tiling of sections or strips made from tile fittings, fixing of border tiles, fixing of gutters and gratings, fitting of battens or beads, forming an

39、d filling of movement joints. 0.5.3 Number of items, grouped according to type and dimensions: tiling of steps and sills, tiling of nosings, tiling in stepped arrangement (e.g. at stairs), tiling of special structural elements, such as foundation plinths, columns, piers, encasing of, or fitting of s

40、upports for, baths and shower units, tiling up to washstands, sinks, baths, shower units, recesses at the base of baths, or of inclined encasement walls, tiling up to recesses in the background, such as niches, at foundation plinths, pipe penetrations, individually measuring more than 0,1 m2, instal

41、lation of fitments, fitting of battens or beads, application of tile fittings or ornamental tiles, mounting of switches, socket outlets, sink gratings, etc., preparation of holes in wall tiling and flooring to receive piping and fitments, joint treatment using elastic sealants at pipe penetrations,

42、gullies, etc., tiling around door frames, bevelling of tile edges. DIN 18352:2016-09 8 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the installation of ceramic tiling and mosaics and tiling and mosaics made of glass. 1.2 This standard does not cover the installation of tiling and mosaics made from natural s

43、tone (see DIN 18332), cast stone work (see DIN 18333). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18352 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supple

44、mented as follows: Tiles and mosaics shall be of first class quality. The DIN Standards and other requirements below cover the most commonly used materials and components. 2.1 Ceramic tiles and mosaics DIN 12912 DIN 18158 DIN EN 14411 2.2 Binders, aggregates, mortar and adhesives DIN 1164-10 DIN EN

45、197-1 DIN EN 459-1 DIN EN 12004 Aggregates shall be evenly graded and free of detrimental constituents. 2.3 Grouting materials DIN 18540 Cement-based adhesives, ready-mixed hydraulic mortar, resin-mixed grout and joint sealants (as specified in DIN 18540) shall not impair the tiling surface. DIN 183

46、52:2016-09 9 2.4 Insulating material DIN EN 622 (all parts) DIN EN 13162 to DIN EN 13171 2.5 Reinforcement DIN 488-4 Reinforcing fabric shall have a mesh size of 50 mm 50 mm with a bar diameter of 2 mm, or 70 mm 70 mm with a bar diameter of 3 mm. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299,

47、clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: the condition of the background, if this is unsuitable for tiling (e.g. due to soiling, efflorescence or cracks), or if it is too smooth, to

48、o oily, too moist or frozen, any surface irregularities larger than those permitted in accordance with subclause 3.1.2, any missing datums, the fall, if this is missing, inadequate or if it deviates from that declared in the documentation. 3.1.2 Deviations from the dimensions specified are permitted subject to the tolerances specified in DIN 18202 being complied with. 3.1.3 Cladding units for vertical enclosures of buildings shall be applied in accordance with DIN 18515-1 and DIN 18515-2. 3.2 Bedding 3.2.1 General 3.2.1.1 Tiles and mosaic
