Purpose. The purpose of this pamphlet is
2、 to brief Dist:rict/Division Commanders and Technical Division Chiefs on the background, capabilities and uses of AMPRS. The pamphlet provides an overview of the AYLPRS system. It discusses the basic concepts, structure, capabilities, uses, and limitations of the system. which are included in the AD
3、P Reference Manual, Users Manuti.1, and the Data Dictionary. It does not present the actual technical details of operation, 2. Applicability. This pamphlet is applicable to all Divisions and Districts having military design or construction (MILCON) functions. 3. References. a. AR 18-1 b. ER 18-1-35

The primary input, feedback, and use of data by the Resident Engineer or Project Manager establishes the reliability of the information. The informati
16、on can now be utilized for automatic reporting to the district engineer, division engineer, OCE/HQ, and customers. 1-3. Reporting Concept. AMPRS is the sole source of data for reports to all recipients of Military Construction status reports. Since all the reports are prepared from one data base, OC
17、E/HQ, divisions, and districts are working with the same information. However, the data base provides each user only the information needed by that user. 1-4. Management Concept. a. General. The AMPRS data base provides information for management purposes. The manner in which the data is utilized is
18、 based on the individual style of managers, division chiefs, and district engineers.
