20、ofISO11928,thetermsanddefinitionsgiveninISO6196-7andthefollowingapply. 3.1 testframe datafilewhichgeneratestestimagesonaCOMrecorder 4 Testframes 4.1 Testframeforcheckingframesize,linearityandpositioning Thetestframe(seeFigure1)shallcomprisearectangulargridequalinsizetothelargestimagethattheCOM recor

21、derproduces.Itshallbedividedbystraightlinesdrawninbothaxesatintervalsofone-eighthofthelengthof thelongaxis,fromthecentreoftheframe.Diagonallinesshallconnecttheoppositecornersoftheframeandthe midpointsofthesidesoftheframe. 4.2 Testframeforcheckingresolution,legibilityanddensity Thetestframe(seeFigure

22、2)shallcomprise: a) patternscomposedoffive-linegroupswithaletterbesideeachgrouptoidentifyit.Thespacialfrequencyof thelineswithinthefive-linegroupsshallbechosentoensurethatthepointofresolutionfailureoccurswithin therange;ISO11928-1:2000(E) 2 b) groupsoflower-caseletter“e”invarioussizes,withanumeralbe

23、sideeachgrouptoidentifyit.Thesizesofthe letter“e”shallbechosentoensurethatthepointoflegibilityfailureoccurswithintherange; c) anareaexposedbytheCOMrecordertoproduceanareasufficienttomeasureminimumdensity. NOTE Thisareamaybeaseparateframeforeachmeasurement. 4.3 Testframeforcheckingradialrecording The

24、testframe(seeFigure3)shallcompriseparallelpairsofradiallinesspacedat22,5,withtheseparationin eachpairoflinesbeingequaltothelinethickness. 4.4 Testframeforcheckingcurvedlines Thetestframe(seeFigure4)shallcompriseanumberofconcentriccircles,withradiallinesspacedat45.The fouroutercirclesshallbedrawnwith
