15、ontact resistance tests, insulation tests and voltage stress tests. 3 Preparation of the specimen 3.1 Specimens shall be equipped with their normal accessories, mounted, and wired as specified by the detail specification. 3.2 Details of the monitoring circuit, including the method and attachment poi

16、nts of sensors on the specimen shall be specified. 3.3 A minimum of 200 mm of wire or cable shall be unsupported on both ends of the specimen, unless the detail specification states otherwise. The wire or cable shall be secured to the vibration fixture bottom plate (or in a similar location). 3.4 Wh

17、en required by the detail specification, the specimens shall be mated and unmated as many times as specified prior to the test. EN6051265:19993 BSI 07-2001 4 Test method 4.1 This test shall be carried out in accordance with EN 60068-2-64:1994 and, as applicable, using the degree of severity specifie

18、d in the detail specification. 5 Test conditions 5.1 The specimens shall be vibrated in each of three mutually perpendicular directions, one of which shall be parallel to the engagement direction. 5.2 The vibration magnitude shall be monitored (for controlling the generator) at locations as near as

19、possible to the specimen mounting points. 5.3 The environment temperature, if other than ambient, shall be specified. 6 Measurements 6.1 Initial measurements shall be carried out as specified by the detail specification. 6.2 Measurements during the test 6.2.1 Unless otherwise specified by the detail

20、 specification, monitoring of electrical continuity shall be carried out according to IEC 60512-2, Test 2e IEC 60512-2-5 * . The contacts and screen as specified in the detail specification shall be connected in series when monitoring continuity. 6.2.2 The electrical load condition shall be 100 mA f

21、or all contacts unless otherwise specified. 6.3 Final measurements The specimens shall be electrically and mechanically checked as required by the detail specification. 7 Details to be specified a) Mounting and wiring of specimens including type of accessories to be fitted (if any); b) number of mec

22、hanical operations (if necessary); c) duration of conditioning; d) frequency range; e) acceleration spectral density levels; _ *Publication number of the planned future edition. 24、od. 8 Documentation The data sheets or test report shall contain as a minimum the following information: a) title of test, date, and names of personnel; b) specimen description; c) description (and sketch if possible) of fixtures, mounting and wiring of specimens; d) test equipment used and calibrat

25、ion due date; e) electrical load applied; f) test severity (conditions used), acceleration spectral density level; g) test duration, for each axis; h) any conditioning (mating and unmating cycles) of the specimens; i) environment temperature (if applicable); j) values and observations. _ EN6051265:1
