20、ng electromechanical components within the scope of IEC technical committee 48. This test may also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification. The object of this test is to define a standard test method to assess the ability of components to be stored and/or to function und

21、er conditions of high relative humidity and to observe the effects of such high humidity when combined with important temperature changes. 1.2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. When required by the detail specification, the specimen shall be

26、 mated and unmated as many times as specified prior to testing. For each test carried out, the detail specification shall specify the condition of the component, for example mated or unmated. 2.2 Wiring of specimen Specimens shall be wired as specified in the detail specification. 2.3 Preconditionin

27、g Preconditioning shall be of at least 1 h, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification. 3 Test method 3.1 Conditioning This test shall be carried out in accordance with IEC 60068-2-30, Test Db and guidance: Damp heat, cyclic (12 + 12-hour cycle) using the degree of severity specified in

28、the detail specification. The upper temperature shall be 55 C and variant 1 shall be used, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification. 3.2 Initial measurements Initial measurements shall be carried out as specified by the detail specification. 3.3 Final measurements The specimens shall b

29、e subjected to the following tests, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification and shall meet the requirements specified in the detail specification. Insulation resistance: IEC 60512-3-1, Test 3a, immediately after the recovery time; Voltage proof: IEC 60512-4-1, Test 4a, immediately aft

30、er the recovery time; Contact resistance Millivolt level method: IEC 60512-2-1, Test 2a; Insertion and withdrawal forces: IEC 60512-7, Test 13b; Visual examination: IEC 60512-1-1, Test 1a.
