27、efinedinEN1766. 6.2 Theconcretespecimenshallbesplitalongtheaxis,accordingtoEN123906. 6.3 Thetwopiecesshallbeheldtogetherinsuchawaythatacrackwidthof(1 0,2)mmisobtainedbyusing inertflexibleplasticspacers;thecrackopeningsalongtheheightshallbeentirelysealedbyusingcaulkingor sealingcompound(5.6).Thecaulk

28、ingcompoundshallnotpenetrateintothecrackbymorethan5mm. 6.4 Theconcretespecimenshallbeinsertedintotheapparatusdescribedin5.1onthepolymericdisc. 6.5 Hotelastomericbitumen(5.7)orothersuitablematerialispouredbetweenthemouldandtheconcrete specimen,takingcarenottocontaminatetheuppercircularsurface.EN14068

29、:2003(E) 6 7Injection 7.1Test conditions Thestandardclimateconditionsduringthetestshallbe(21 2)Cand(60 10)%relativehumidity,for conditioningbeforeinjection,injectionprocess,specimencuringandpressuretest. Theassemblyshallbestoredattheseconditionsfor(48 4)hpriortotesting. 7.2 Crackconditioning Thebott

30、omplateandthepolypropylenedisc(5.1)shallberemoved.Ifitisnotrequiredtoinjectagainstaheadof water(seebelow),thecrackatthelowersideshallbesealedbyusingcaulkingcompound(5.6).Thecaulking compoundshallcoverthecrackandanareaimmediatelyadjacenttothecracktoawidthlessthan15mmtoeither sideofthecrack. Twopolyme

31、ricsegments(5.1)shallbeputonthelowersideofthespecimen,oneachsizeofthecaulking compoundstrip,andthebottomplateshallbefixedagain. Iftestingforinjectionagainstaheadofwaterisrequired,thelowersideofthecrackshallnotbesealed. Twopolymericsegments(5.1)shallbeputonthelowersideofthespecimensothatthecrackisnot

32、covered. Connectiontoawatersupplyattheagreedwaterpressureshallbemadeviathewaterinlet. Dependingupontheclassificationofhumidityspecifiedbythemanufactureroftheinjectionmaterial,thespecimen shallbeconditionedasfollows: forinjectionintoadrycrack:nofurtherconditioningrequired; forinjectionintoadampcrack:

33、thecrackshallbekeptfilledwithtapwaterat(21 2)Cfor30min,then emptiedandallowedtodrainfor30minbeforeproceedingwithinjection; forinjectionintoawetcrack:soakcrackasabove,butproceedwithinjectionimmediatelyafteremptying withoutanyperiodofdraining; forinjectionintoawaterfilledcrack:fillthecrackwithwaterat(

34、21 2)Cfor30minasabove.Thenproceed withinjectionwithoutemptyingthewater; iftestingforinjectionagainstaheadofwaterisrequired,thelowersideofthecrackshallnotbesealedand connectiontoawatersupplyattheagreedwaterpressureshallbemadeviathewaterinlet. 7.3 Injection Thecrackopeningontheuppersurfaceofthespecime

35、nshallbepreparedforinjectionaccordingtothe manufacturersrecommendedprocedureappropriatefortheselectedcrackcondition(7.2).Thismayinclude thefittingofinjectionnipplesorpackersandventsasinletandoutletports; Thecomponentsoftheinjectionproductshallbemixedinaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructionsand th

36、enintroducedintothecrackinaccordancewiththemethoddescribedbythemanufacturer.Theinjectionis completewhenunadulteratedinjectionproductisseentoemergefromtheoutletport. 7.4 Curing Thetestspecimensshallbecuredfor7daysat(21 2)Cand(60 10)%relativehumidity.EN14068:2003(E) 7 8Procedure 8.1 Cleaningofthesurfa

37、cesofthetestspecimen Aftercuring,thebottomplateandthesegments(5.1)shallberemoved.Thecaulkingcompound,ifused,andany injectionproductlyingonthesurfaceshallbecompletelyremoved,accordingtotheinstructionsofthe manufacturer,sothatthecrackbecomesvisibleattheupperandlowerside(bottom)ofthespecimen. Thesegmen

38、ts(5.1)shallthenbereplacedontheunderside,sothatthecrackisnotcovered,i.e.withthechordsof thesegmentsrunningparalleltothecrack.Thebottomplateshallthenbereplaced. Attheupperend,thesampleshallbeheldinplacebythebarandtheelasticpackerwhichwillbepositionedso thattheirlongitudinalaxesareaboutnormaltotheline

39、ofthecrack. 8.2 Applicationofwaterpressure Waterpressureshallbeappliedfromthelowerfaceasfollows: 25%ofthemaximumtargetpressurefor7days; 50%ofthemaximumtargetpressurefor7days; 75%ofthemaximumtargetpressurefor7days; 100%ofthemaximumtargetpressurefor7days. NOTE SeeprEN15045:2001forrequirementsontargetp

40、ressuresandnoteinclause4. 8.3Observations Duringtheapplicationofwaterpressure,thespecimensshallbeexaminedforwaterleakage. Temporaryleakages,whichmayoccurduringpressurechangesorshortlyafterwards,shallbeignored. 9 Expressionofresults Theobservationsmadeduringeachpressureincrementshallbedocumented. Ift

41、hesampleleaksat25%or50%ofthetargetpressure,theinjectionmaterialisdeemedtohavefailedthetest. Thetestmayberepeatedreiterativelyusingdifferenttargetpressuresinordertodeterminethecorrectpressure intervalforthematerial. 10 Testreport Thetestreportshallcontainthefollowinginformation: a) areferencetothiste
