24、trigisthesameasinEN1818,exceptfortheswivelcastor,theloadandthelengthofthemovement. 5.2Supporting table Thesupportingtableshouldbelevelandatleast400mmx400mm.Itsupportsthetestspecimenwhileitis movedundertheloadedcastor,describedin5.3.Thesupportingtableandspecimenmoveunderthecastorwheel intwodirections

25、atrightangle,withalongitudinalmovementof(210 2) mmwithafrequencyof (23,60,7)cycles/minute,andtransversemomentof(1502)mmandafrequencyof(5,80,2)cycles/minute. Forthewearonthetestareatobeuniform,thetwomovementsshallnotbecoordinated,butmaybedrivenfor examplebyacommonmotorwitharollerchaintransmissionasde

26、scribedinISO606,withchainwheelswithfifty sevenandfourteenteethrespectively. Theratioofthefrequenciesshallbe4,070,03toensurethatthewheeldoesnotfollowthesamepathallthe time. 5.3 Swivelcastor TheswivelcastorisshowninFigure2.Thewheelismadefromasteelrollerbearing.Thediametershallbe (47 1)mm,thewidthshall

27、be(20,6 0,5)mm.Thetravellingsurfaceshallbecylindricalwithchamferededge withradius1mm.Thecastorcanmovefreelyabouttheswivelaxis. Theswivelaxisshallbefreetomovevertically(whichmaybeachievedwithrollerbearingsatbothendsofthe axis,atleast300mmapart)andshallbeloadedsothatthetotalloadappliedbythecastoriseit

A1,5mmhomogeneouspolyvinylchloridefloorcoveringaccordingtoEN6601orEN6602with2040%filler classifiedinwearclassPandLevelofuseclass32accordingtoEN649.Theflooring,whichshouldnotbeolder than1year,isadheredtothesurfaceofthescreedmaterialwithadispersionadhesivesuitableforpolyvinyl ch

31、loridefloorcoveringswhichmeetstherequirementsofprEN14259.ThefloorcoveringshouldbeappliedattheEN138927:2003(E) 5 timethatisindicatedbythescreedmaterialmanufacturerastheearliestpossibleforfloorcoverings.Thistimecan beexpressedexplicitlyasadryingtimeinhoursordays,orrelatedtothethicknessoftheproduct,for

32、example 7days/centimeter. NOTE Todeterminethemaximumresistancetorollingwheelforanunknownmaterial,aminimumoffivespecimensperthicknessis necessary.Inthatcasethefirstspecimenshouldbetestedat350N. 7Procedure Thetestingisperformed28daysaftercastingthespecimen,orlaterifrequiredbecauseoftheminimumdrying ti

33、meindicatedbythescreedmaterialmanufacturer.Innocaseshouldthetestingbedoneearlierthan7daysafter adheringthefloorcovering. Thetestspecimenshallbeinstalled.Theappropriateverticalloadforthescreedmaterialundertestshallbe chosenfromthefivevaluesgiveninclause5.3.Theapparatusshallbestartedandtheloadedwheelb

34、elowered gentlysothatthewheelcomesintocontactwiththetestspecimen.Thedurationofthetestshallbe10000cycles (8h)inthedirectionofthelongmovement.Ifseveredamageoccursthetestshallbestoppedimmediatelyand thenumberofcyclesrecorded. Thefloorshallbeinspectedtoascertainifdelaminationhastakenplace.Ifnoobviousdel

35、aminationisobserved, drillingshallbeperformedinsixpositionsaccordingtoFigure3.Adiamondcoredrillwithinnerandouterdiameter of(361)mmand(421)mm,respectivelyisused.Thedrillingmachineshouldbeattachedtoafixturewhich allowsatrulyverticalmovement.Thedrillshallrunat(3000100)rev/minuteandthedrillingshallconti

36、nueuntil dustfromthescreedmaterialisvisible(23secondsperhole).Ifanyofthecircularfloorcoveringdiscsisremoved completelybythedrilling,thespecimenhasfailedthetest,andthemodeoffailureisnoted.Adiscwhichisstuckin thedrillshallberemovedbeforedrillingthenextposition Ifthetesthasfailedthewholetestprocedurema

37、yberepeatedatalowerloadlevel. 8 Expressionofresults Foreachspecimen,thenumberofdiscsremovedbythedrillingshallbenotedtogetherwiththemodeoffailure.If nodischasbeenremovedofanyofthethreeorsixspecimens,thescreedmaterialhaspassedthetestandthe resistancetorollingwheelisexpressedastheloadused.
