33、ebetweentheinstantwhentheadhesive,havingbeenpreparedaccordingtothemanufacturers instructions,isreadyforuseandtheinstantwhenitisnolongerusable 4Requirements 4.1Storage guarantee Theproductspecificationorthetechnicaldatasheetshallincludestoragelifebeforedelivery(3.14)conditionsfor theadhesiveinitsorig

34、inal,unopenedpackaging.Theseshallinclude,ataminimum,theappropriatestorage temperature,relativehumidityandastatementthatthesameconditionsshallbemaintainedduringtheguaranteed shelflifeafterpurchase(3.13).Failuretomaintaintherequiredstorageconditionsshallinvalidatethe manufacturersguarantee. 4.2Revalid

35、ation Responsibilityforextendingthevalidityofamaterialbeyondtheexpirydate(3.9)setbythemanufactureris fundamentallyvestedonthepurchaser.Intheeventofamaterialbeingusedafteritsoriginalexpirydate responsibilityforitsuseshallbeclearlyacceptedbyeitherpurchaseroruser,whenthesearenotthesame.Page7 EN12701:20

36、01 4.3Individual packaging Thepackagingshallbeofsuchanaturethatitshallprotecttheadhesivethroughouttheguaranteedshelflifewhen storedinaccordancewiththemanufacturersrequirements.Additionally,thepackagingshallmeetlegal requirementsandbesufficientlyrobusttoallowconventionaltransportationtakingintoaccoun

37、ttheappropriate storageconditions(3.5). 4.4Marking Intheabsenceoftheproducttechnicalspecificationorunlessotherwisespecifiedinthelatter,individualand collectivepackagesshallcarryinformationconcerningthespecifiedstorageconditionsandtheguaranteedexpiry dateofthemanufacturersguaranteedshelflife.
