35、For 6.3 mm wide tape only.BS6288-6:1987 BSI 11-1999 7 14 Allocation and dimensions of magnetic tracks according to tape carrier Each of the following sub-clauses specifies a track pattern, its position on a tape of a given width and the allocation of channels to each magnetic track within the track

36、pattern. Each sub-clause has been provided with a figure, in which the left-hand drawing shows the track pattern (of interest to manufacturers of recording and reproducing heads) and the right-hand drawing shows the position of the track pattern on the tape (of interest to manufacturers of tape tran

37、sports). The recorded track pattern on the tape shall always comply with the provisions of both drawings. In the figures the direction of recording is indicated by the hatching on the tracks. For simultaneous recording on two or more tracks, the head gaps shall be in-line and the heads shall be so p

38、hased that at all frequencies: a) signals from a full track calibration tape shall, on reproduction, result in in-phase sound pressures from all loudspeakers (adjustment of reproducing head); b) in-phase signals to the record inputs shall, on reproduction, result in in-phase sound pressures from all
