12、rising bases woven from cotton, natural silk, or synthetic fibres (including glass) supplied in the form of full-width rolls, sheets or tapes slit to various widths. The series consists of three parts: 1. Definitions and general requirements. 2. Methods of test. 3. Specifications for individual mate
13、rials. 1 Scope This part of the standard contains the requirements for glass fabrics with varnishes based on the following resins: epoxy glass-fabric base, EP/G; polyurethane glass-fabric base, PUR/G; silicone glass-fabric base, SI/G; polyester glass-fabric base, PE/G; bituminous glass-fabric base,
14、BT/G; oleoresinous glass-fabric base, OR/G. 2 General requirements The material shall conform to the requirements published in Part1 of the standard. The central values obtained shall be equal to or greater than the values inTable I andTable II. 3 Tensile strength and extension When tested according
15、 to the method described in Part2, the tensile strength, the stress at 10% extension and elongation at break of the material shall be not less than the values given inTable I. 4 Edge tearing resistance When tested according to the method described in Part2, the edge tearing resistance shall be not l
16、ess than that given inTable I. 5 Electric strength 5.1 Electric strength at room temperature When tested according to the method described in Part2, the electric strength at room temperature shall be not less than the values given inTable I. 5.2 Electric strength at elevated temperature When tested
17、according to the method described in Part2, the electric strength at elevated temperature shall be not less than the values given inTable I. 5.3 Electric strength of extended material When tested according to the method described in Part2, the electric strength of extended material shall be not less
18、 than the values given inTable I. 5.4 Electric strength after conditioning at93% r.h. for96h at23 C When tested according to the method described in Part2, the electric strength shall be not less than the values given inTable I when tested at the indicated conditions. 6 Thermal endurance The guidanc
19、e of the IEC Publication216 series has to be observed. Criteria and end points are given inTable III. 7 Resistance against hydrolysis When tested according to the method described in Part2, the material shall show no failure after 24h. 8 Effect of fabric on oil When tested according to the method de
20、scribed in Part2, the acid number shall not be greater than1.0. NOTEThis requirement applies only when not otherwise stated in a relevant contract. 9 Effect of oil on varnished fabric When tested according to the method described in Part2, no tackiness, transfer of varnish or substantial swelling sh
21、all be observed.
