It is identical with ISO 4916:1991 “Textiles Seam types Classification and terminology”, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which was prepared, with the active participation of the United Kingdom, by Technical Comm

8、ittee ISO/TC38. This third edition supersedes BS 3870-2:1983, of which it forms a minor technical revision and which is withdrawn. For ease of production the French text has been retained. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Sta
