4、6 : 1974, which is withdrawn. This revision updates the dimensions given in the previous edit ion. The United Kingdom has taken part in the preparation of the international standard through Subcommittee 1 O of ISO/TC 20. Terminology and conventions. The text of the international standard has been ap

5、proved as suitable for publication as a British Standard without deviation. Some terminology and certain conventions are not identical with those used in British Standards; attention is drawn especially to the following. The comma has been used as a decimal marker. in British Standards it is current

6、 practice to use a full point on the baseline as the decimal marker. Wherever the words International Standard appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as British Standard. Compliance with a British Standard does not of itself confer immunity from legal obligations. I Scope and field

7、of application This International Standard specifies the outside diameters and thicknesses of tubes, :or all metallic materials, IO be selected for all uses in aircraft structural and system design. 2 Dimensions The outside diameters and thicknesses of the tubes shall De selected from those specifie

8、d in the table. 3 Tolerances The tolerances shall De specified in the relevant standards appropriate to the material and intended application.
