AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARD Approval of an American National Standard requires review by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the

CCPN is a network capability that facilitates deliv
20、ery of a call to anumber that has been ported from the switch indicated by the NPA-NXX of the dialednumber. CCPN has been developed for use between U.S. networks to meet the an-ticipated needs and applications of those entities primarily to meet the needs of ser-vice provider portability. This stand
21、ard has 3 annexes. Annex A is normative and ispart of this standard: that is, this annex includes requirements that are part of thespecification. Annexes B and C are informative annexes. Informative annexes arenot considered part of this standard but are, rather, auxiliary to the standard. In ac-cor
22、dance with FCC Document #97-74, procedures defined in annexes B and C arenot intended for use in U.S. networks. This standard is the result of extensive work bymembers of the T1S1.3 Working Group on U.S. Standards for Common Channel Sig-nalling.This standard is intended for use in conjunction with A
