Scope1.1 The thermophysical property tables for normal hydro-gen are for use in the calculation of the pressure-volume-temperature (PVT), thermodynam
3、ic, and transport propertiesof hydrogen for process design and operations, particularly asthey relate to hydrogen fuel cell applications. Tables areprovided for gaseous hydrogen at temperatures between 50 Kand 500 K at pressures to 50 MPa. These tables were developedby the National Institute of Stan
4、dards and Technology from aStandard Reference Database product REFPROP, version 7.0.2. Applicability2.1 These tables apply directly only to pure gaseous hydro-gen. However, it is expected that they may find substantial usein mathematical models and tables for the thermophysicalproperties of mixtures
5、 containing hydrogen.3. Tables3.1 The tabulated thermophysical properties are:r, molar density (moll-1)H, molar enthalpy (Jmol-1)S, molar entropy (JK-1mol-1)Cv, constant volume molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)Cp, constant pressure molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)c, speed of sound (ms-1)h, viscosity (P
6、as)l, thermal conductivity (mWm-1K-1)3.2 These tables were produced by equations from a com-puter package, “NIST Standard Reference Database 23; Ref-erence Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Data-base (REFPROP): Version 7.0.” A wide selection of units (SIunits, engineering units, chemical
7、units) is available with thisprogram.4. Additional Information4.1 A comprehensive equation of state for normal hydrogenis not available at this time. The properties in the table werecalculated from individual equations for normal hydrogen andpara-hydrogen. For example, to calculate the heat capacity
8、 ofnormal hydrogen, an equation for the heat capacity of normalhydrogen at zero pressure was combined with an integration ofPVT equation for para-hydrogen to obtain the heat capacity ofnormal hydrogen at non-zero pressure.
