Scope1.1 This specification covers test methods and toleran
3、cesapplicable to the following properties of knitted fabrics: yield,mass (weight), width, length, fabric count, bursting strength,moisture regain, thickness, extractable matter, and fiber com-position.1.2 These tolerances are applicable to knitted fabrics of alltypes, such as warp knits, weft knits,
4、 flat bed knits, and soforth.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard. The values given in parentheses are for informationonly.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 bursting strength, nthe force or pressure required torupture a fabric by distending it, when applied at right anglesto the plane of the fabric, under spec

11、g:(1) Man-Made Fibers:(a) CMRU Basis (commercial moisture regain with unscouredmaterial)the weight (mass) of unscoured, moisture-free textile prod-uct plus the weight (mass) corresponding to its commercial moistureregain.(b) CMRS Basis (commercial moisture regain with scouredmaterial)the weight (mas
12、s) of moisture-free textile product afterscouring by definite prescribed methods plus the weight correspondingto its commercial moisture regain.(c) CAS Basis (commercial allowance with scoured material)theweight (mass) of moisture-free textile product after scouring by definiteprescribed methods plu
