Scope*1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for se
3、am-less copper-nickel pipe and tube in straight lengths, suitable forgeneral engineering purposes. The alloys involved are copperalloys UNS Nos. C70400, C70600, C70620, C71000, C71500,C71520, and C72200.1.1.1 Copper alloys UNS Nos. C70620 and C71520 areintended for product that will be subsequently
4、welded.1.2 UnitsValues stated in inch-pound or SI units are to beregarded separately as standard. Within the text, SI units areshown in brackets. The values stated in each system may not beexact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used inde-pendently of the other. Combining values from the

Ordering Information5.1 Include the following information when placing ordersfor product under this specification, as applicable:5.1.1 ASTM designation and year of issue,5.1.2 Copper Alloy UNS No. (Scope section),5.1.3 Temper (Temper se

22、matic test to the requirements specified in Section 14.11.2.3 Pneumatic TestWhen specified in the contract orpurchase order, each tube shall be subjected to a minimuminternal air pressure of 60 psig 415 kPa for 5s withoutshowing evidence of leakage.12. 23、1 Wall Thickness TolerancesThe wall thickness toler-ances shall be in accordance with Table 3.12.2 Diameter TolerancesThe diameter tolerances shallbe in accordance with Table 4.12.3 Tolerance on distances between parallel surfaces fortubes other than round shall be as agreed between the manu-facture
