Scope1.1 This specification2covers UNS N08120, UNS N08890,UNS N08800, UNS N0
3、8810, and UNS N08811* in the form ofrolled plate, sheet, and strip. Alloy UNS N08800 is normallyemployed in service temperatures up to and including 1100F(593C). Alloys UNS N08120, UNS N08810, UNS N08811,and UNS N08890 are normally employed in service tempera-tures above 1100F (593C) where resistanc
4、e to creep andrupture is required, and they are annealed to develop controlledgrain size for optimum properties in this temperature range.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are forinformation only.1.3 This standard does not pu

Ordering Information5.1 It is the responsibility of the purchaser to specify allrequirements that are necessary for the safe and satisfactoryperformance of material ordered under this specification.Examples of such requirements include but are not limited tothe following:5.1.1 Alloy

Materials and Manufacture6.1 Heat TreatmentThe final heat treatment of UNSN08120 shall be 2150F (1177C) minimum, UNS N08810,2050F (1121C) minimum, UNS N08811 and UNS N08890,2100F (1149C) minimum.7. Chemical Composition7.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Ta
17、ble 2.7.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations in Specification B 906.8. Mechanical and Other Requirements8.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical properties specified in Table 3.8
18、.2 Grain SizeAnnealed Alloys UNS N08120, UNSN08810, UNS N08811, and UNS N08890 shall conform to anaverage grain size of ASTM No. 5 or coarser.8.3 Deep-Drawing and Spinning Quality Sheet and Strip(Alloy UNS N08800) Shall conform to the grain size andhardness requirements as provided in Table 4.8.3.1
19、The mechanical properties of Table 3 do not apply todeep drawing and spinning quality sheet and strip.8.4 Annealing TemperatureAlloy UNS N08120 shall beannealed at 2150F (1177C) minimum, and UNS N08810,2050F (1121C) minimum.9. Dimensions and Permissible Variations9.1 Thickness and Weight:9.1.1 Plate

(50.8 mm), incl, inthickness, the permissible variation under the specified thick-ness and permissible excess in overweight shall not exceed theamounts prescribed in Table A3.1 in Specification B 906.9.1.1.1 For use with Table A3.1 in Specification B 906,plate shall be assumed
21、to weigh 0.287 lb/in.3(7.944 g/cm3).9.1.2 PlateFor plate over 2 in. (50.8 mm) in thickness, thepermissible variations over the specified thickness shall notexceed the amounts prescribed in Table A3.2 in SpecificationB 906.9.1.3 Sheet and StripThe permissible variations in thick-ness of sheet and str
