It is published on green paper for the needs of AECMA-Members. It has been technically approved by the experts of the concerned Commissio

5、n following comment by the Member countries. Subsequent to the publication of this pre-standard, the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the standard. After examination and signature of the

6、AECMA Standard Checking Centre (NPS) and formal agreement of the Official Services of the Member countries it will be submitted as a draft European Standard to CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for final vote. f -. 7、 and field of application This standard specifies a method of measuring the axial forces or torque moments required to fully mate or unmate elements of connection, including the effect of any device that assists the matinghnmating separating operations. It shall be used together with EN 2591. 2 Refe

8、rences EN 2591 Aerospace series - Elements of electrical and optical connection - Test methods - General 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Specimens shall be fitted with their full complement of wired contacts and their normal accessories as specified by the technical specification. The receptacle shal

9、l be mounted to a support. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - type and length of cable, - type of accessory, - test method A or A and 6, - temperature for method 6, - rate of application of the load, if required, - method A or B : maximu

10、m value of mating force or torque, - method A or B : maximum and minimum values of unmating force or torque. 4 Method 4.1 Procedure The plug shall be fully mated and unmated by the normal method. If necessary, the rate of mating or unmating shall be as specified by the technical specification. . Pre

Method B : specimens shall be tested for 2 h at a temperature between -25 OC and -55 OC as specified by the technical specification. The forces and/or torque moments required to fully mate or unmate specimens shall be measured. 4.2 Requirements The forces or torques measured shall be within the limits specified.
