It shall be used together with EN 2591. 2

8、 References EN 2591 Aerospace series - Elements of electrical and optical connection - Test methods - General 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 The removable contacts shall be tested outside ; the non removable contacts shall be tested in the element of connection. 3.2 Unless indicated in the techflica

9、l specification, the following details shall be specified : - maximum insertion force and minimum insertion force, - gauges. 4 Apparatus The specimen shall be mounted in a suitable device so that increasing or decreasing loads may be applied for insertion or removal of the gauge defined by the techn

10、ical specification. 5 Method 5.1 Number of specimens 30 specimens for each contact size. 5.2 Procedure The gauge shall be introduced into each female contact to a depth equal to at least 70 % of the female contact depth L (see figure 1). The insertion forces shall be measured with the maximum size gauge. The extraction forces shall be measured with the minimum size gauge. 5.3 Requirements The forces measured shall meet the values specified by the technical specification.
