33、9 Fastener, snap. The snap fastener shall conform to style 2, finish 2, button 24 line, size 1 and eyelet, size 1 of MIL-I?-10884. 3.2.10 Eyelet and washer. The eyelet and washer (quarter-turn stud fastener) shal.1 be brass, black finish, conforming to the United Carr Company components, eyelet BS 7

34、8403 and washer BS 78505, or equal. 3.2*11 Socket and clinch plate. The long-pronged socket and clinch plate (large curtain type) shall conform to style 1, finish 2 of MIL-F-10884. 3.2.12 Grommet, oblong and washer. 3.2.12.1 Eyelet. The oblong eyelet shall be brass, black finish, conforming to No. A

35、867 of Edwin B. Stimpson, Inc., or equal. 3.2.12.2 Washer. The oblong washer shall be fabricated of 1/2 hard brass, dull black finish conforming to composition 1 or 2 of QQ-B-613 in the dimensions as shown on Drawings 5-4-642, 5-4-647, 5-4-657 and 5-4-715. 3.2.13 Pipe, aluminum alloy. The aluminum a

36、lloy pipe shall conform to 6061-T6, schedule 40, 1-1/4-inch nominal pipe size, or ASTM B 241. The aluminum alloy bar for the

37、 lunette support and the inner top support (see Drawing 5-4-718) shall conform to 6061-T6 of ._ QQ-A-225 /8. 3.2.15 Pins, tent. 3.2.15.1 Metal. The metal tent pin shall be type II, 12-inches long conforming to MIL-P-501. 3.2.15.2 Wood. The wooden tent pin shall be size 1 conforming to MIL-P-2383. 3.

38、2.16 Slips, tent line. The nylon tent line slip shall conform to type II Of MILS-1734 3.2.17 Steel, carbon bar. The steel used to fabricate the diagonal side support spindle (see Drawing 5-4-659) shall conform to identification number 1211, 1212, 1213, or 1215, round form, cold finished, as specifie

39、d in ASTM A 108. 3.2.18 Steel., corrosion-resisting bar. The corrosion-resisting steel bar for the lunette support rod (see Drawing 50-4-659) shall conform to the 300 series as specified in QQ-S-763. 3.2.19 Pretreating coating. The pretreating coating shall conform to MIL-C-10578. 3.2.20 Primer. The

40、 primer shall conform to composition G or L, as applicable, color Y or T, of TT-P-1757. 3.2.21 Enamel. The enamel shall.conform to TT-E-529. The color shall correspond to Olive Drab color No. 24087. 3.3. Construction. The construction shall conform to the drawings listed in section 2 and to the repi

41、rements specified herein. 3.3.1 Stitching, machine. 3.3.1.1 Types of stitching. Ends of all stitching shall be backstitched or overstitched 1/2 inch minimum except when caught in other stitching or turned under in a hem. Thread tension shall be maintained so that there will be no loose stitching resulting

44、 in puckering of material sewn. The lock shall be embedded in the material sewn. 3-3.1.2.1 be as follows: Repairs of type 301 stitching.
