SCOPE 1.1 This specificati

2、on contains requirements not covered by the draw- ings, and provides quality assurance provisions for the fabrication, assem- bling and packaging for several types and sizes of pasteboard (ffberboard) and polyethylene targets. The water absorption of the targets shall be a maximum of ten (10) percent when determi

MIL-T-13560D 3.3.2 Blocking. The targets sall show no evidence of blocking (adhesion) when tested as specified in 4.3.1.3. 3.3.3 D

The target shall show no evidence of delamination, (separation of plies) exceeding one-eighth (i /8) inch from the edge of the target when tested as specified 4.3.1.4. 3.3.4 Stiffness (modulus of elasticity). The target shall have a minhum stiffness in the machine direction of 184,000 p

16、ounds per square inch (psi) when subjected to the stiffness test specified in 4.3.1.5. 3.3.5 Puncture resistance. The target shall have a minimum puncture resistance of forty (40) pounds when subjected to the water hersion test specified in 4.3.1.6. 3.3.6 Colorfastness to light. The color side of th

17、e target shall evidence acceptable colorfastness to light rating when tested as specified in 4.3.1.7. 3.3.7 - Gloss. 3.4 Workmanship. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the lots shall be characterized by homogeneity and be in accordance with the lot formation req

21、uirements specified in MIL-STIE-105. Lots shall consist of unit packs of one type or kind of pasteboard or polyethylene target, as applicable. Each lot shall have been manufactured and packaged under one contract using essentially the same conditions during the same identifiable production period, a

22、nd submitted for acceptance by one supplier at one time. 4.2.1 Sampling for inspection and acceptance. Sampling for inspection and acceptance shall be performed in accordance with the provisions set forth in MIL-STD-105 except where otherwise indicated. 4.2.2 Inspection to be performed. Unless other

The inspection equipment required to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described
