1、MIL-R-45777 (LI LO 7777706 0307777 2 s-3m3 MIL-R-45979 (AR) AMENDENT 1 18 August 1986 MILITARY SPECIFICATION RIFLE, 7.62MM: M14, NATIONAL MATCH This Amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-R-45979, dated 24 September 1976, and is approved for use within the US Army Armament Munitions an

2、d Chemical Command, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 8 3.2.16.6, Delete in its entirety and substitute: “3.2.16.6 Swivels. The butt swivel shall be fastened securely to the stock by the long butt plate screw. The sling swivel assembly shall

3、be fastened securely to the stock by rivets. There shall be no relative movement of these parts.“. 3.2.19, Delete in its entirety and substitute: “3.2.19 Headspace. After proof firing, the headspace shall be 1.6330 inches minimum to 1.6360 inches maximum. Testing shall be as specified in 4.5.10.4.“.

The trigger pull shall be free of creep and shall be within the range of 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 pounds. rough movement between the time the trigger slack is taken up and the hammer is released.
